Changes in the ATP agreement on the international carriage of perishable foodstuffs.

A new version of the international ATP agreement which lays down the rules for controlled-temperature transportation entered into force on November 13, 2014.

Each carrier in circulation should have on-board the vehicle a technical-compliance certificate issued by the authority of the country in which it was registered. In addition, the temperature recorders must conform to standards EN12830 and EN13486.

These new provisions will apply to all road haulers from the 48 signatory countries.
