France: An ice rink on the roof of the Montparnasse Tower in Paris.

From 10 February to 5 March 2017, the Panoramic Observation deck of the Montparnasse Tower turns into an ice rink.
Boaz Concept, a French company specialized in leisure events, decided to install a temporary ice rink and curling rink at the top of the Montparnasse Tower. Five tons of equipment were brought at 210 meters high, overnight. The Montparnasse Tower ice rink and curling track are ecological since they don’t use electricity at all: the skating surface is made of interlocking synthetic panels designed by Art Ice Company.

This kind of system might be the future of outdoor rinks (especially in countries such as Canada) when outside temperatures aren’t constant enough to keep ice in good condition.
