High expansion potential for district cooling in Europe and in the Middle East

According to RESCUE, the small market share of district cooling (DC) in Europe (below 2%) represents the equivalent of less then 3 TWh of cooling energy, which clearly makes it a market with high expansion potential. With temperatures ranging between 35 and 55°C, the Middle East is a fertile market for DC which is expected to grow at an annual rate of 15.4% from 2010 to 2016.
