IIR Statutory Meetings

The IIR statutory meetings took place on 2, 3 and 4 June 2021. In addition to the "usual" activities (activity report, budgets...) which were presented and approved, two votes took place:   

• José Corberan, President of the IIR B2 Commission dedicated to refrigeration equipment, had to resign for health reasons, so the IIR elected the current vice-president of this commission, Ji Hwan Jeong, professor at Pusan University, Korea, to replace him.  
• The 2027 IIR Congress will be held in Seoul, Korea. The next Congress will be held in Paris, France, in August 2023.  

 

IIR Congresses are major global conferences on all refrigeration technologies and uses. They are organised every four years.
