Focus on Shecco's Virtual Trade Show, the IoR annual conference and the 13th IEA Heat Pump Conference

Shecco(s Virtual Trade Show 

The Virtual Trade Show (VTS) for natural refrigerants took place on March 30-31 and welcomed over 3,200 individuals from 83 different countries. 

Running from 10am CEST on March 30 to the same time March 31, the event featured more than 24 hours of content including 26 webinars, of which 21 were live, numerous technology-orientated sessions, three panel discussions and 35 exhibitors, including the IIR.

IoR Conference 

The Institute of Refrigeration (IoR), the British national association, organised its annual conference on April 21-22, 2021, dedicated to “Journey to Net Zero” describing the challenges and ways to reach a net-zero emission in 2050 in the refrigeration sector (including the cold chain, air conditioning, heat pumps, cryogenics). The Director General presented, as a keynote speaker, a global perspective of the Sustainable Development Goals for the RACHP sector. 

 

13^th IEA Heat Pump Conference 

The 13^th IEA Heat Pump Conference took place on April 26-29, 2021 in South Korea and was co-sponsored by the IIR. It was a hybrid conference with both online and offline platforms. 205 full papers, 6 plenary speeches and 36 keynote speeches, including many from IIR members were presented: 96 people participated onsite and 272 online.
