IIR conferences PCM 2021 and TPTPR 2021 held jointly
Held concomitantly, the 6th IIR Conference on Thermophysical Properties and Transfer Processes of Refrigerants (TPTPR 2021) and the 13th IIR Conference on Phase-Change Materials and Slurries for Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (PCM 2021) took place on September 1-3.
The joint online conferences welcomed approximately 150 delegates from 25 countries, and each conference featured 50 papers.

Over 30 countries present at the 9th IIR Conference on Ammonia and CO2 Refrigeration Technologies
More than 180 participants from 32 countries attended the 9th edition in this IIR conference series. Held on September 16-17, 2021, the online event presented 35 scientific and technical papers, including 5 keynote lectures.
The conference focused on the intensifying global trend towards using natural refrigerants, such as ammonia, carbon dioxide and hydrocarbons, in various refrigeration applications worldwide.

Distance certainly was no issue for the IIR Cryogenics conference 2021
Organised under the slogan “Distance is no issue for a virtual conference”, the 16th IIR Conference on Cryogenics took place online on October 5-7.
Featuring 42 papers, the conference brought together researchers and professionals to explore the latest developments and the issues related to the equipment and technologies in the area of temperatures below 120 K (-153°C).
Save the date: The next edition will be held in Dresden, Germany, on April 24–28, 2023.
London Compressors Conference 2021 – 3 eventful days
Over 190 participants attended the 12th International Conference on Compressors and their Systems which was held online on September 6-8.
The three-day event presented 71 technical papers in 4 parallel sessions, 5 keynotes, 3 industry papers, 2 panels and 13 presentations in the Short Course and Forum on CFD in rotary positive displacement machines.
Atmosphere Europe Summit 2021
This year, the ATMOsphere Europe event, organised by shecco, took place online on September 28-29. The two-day programme covered policy developments (revision of the EU F-Gas), market updates, case studies, end users’ experiences, digitalisation, training and more.
AFCE - Revision of the F-gas regulation
The Alliance Froid Climatisation Environnement (AFCE), a corporate member of the IIR which gathers French air conditioning industrials, organised a conference in Paris on September 30, 2021. The IIR's Director General took part in the event, as well as Ms. Tranholm-Schwarz, from the European Commission.
The latter indicated that the draft amendment of the F-gas regulation should be proposed to the Ministers and Parliament of the European Union for March-April 2022, for application in 2024 at the earliest.
