Past events: the IIR at the CYTEF congress and Purdue conferences

In June and July, the IIR's Director General attended the CYTEF and Purdue conferences, both sponsored by the IIR.   

CYTEF 

 

The CYTEF congress went ahead in 2024: from 26 to 28 June, around a hundred researchers and students from Spain, Portugal and Latin America gathered in Elche (Spain) for a series of presentations on the various refrigeration technologies and their application in these countries. The IIR sponsored the conference, and its Director General presented the IIR's strategy for the sustainable development of refrigeration worldwide. 

 

The IIR at the 20th Purdue International Conferences 

 
Co-sponsored by the IIR, the latest series of Purdue conferences was held from 15 to 18 July 2024 and gathered more than 700 industry experts from 30 countries to present cutting-edge research, exchange ideas, network with peers and explore the Herrick Labs facilities. Didier Coulomb, Director General of the IIR travelled to West Lafayette, Indiana (USA), where Herrick Labs has been organising leading international conferences on compressor engineering, refrigeration and air conditioning, and high-performance buildings since 1972.
