The World Bank seminar

The World Bank organised with the University of Birmingham a 2-day seminar in London on April 24th-25th in order to discuss solutions to limit energy consumption and the environmental impact increase due to the expansion of refrigeration equipment. The IIR participated. The World Bank will organise other seminars in order to build a strategy for this increasingly important challenge.

International Energy Agency (IEA)

The IEA-HPT programme held its Executive Committee meeting in Helsinski on May 22-23. The IIR Director General was invited due to the partnership between the IIR and IEA-HPT in order to present in particular the joint workshops organised during the Congress in Montreal on August 24-30, 2019.
