The paper proceedings contain 57 papers in Serbian and the CD-ROM includes 8 original papers in English as well as 31 translations in English, presented at this congress, co-sponsored by the IIR, held in Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro. Extract from the table of contents: air-conditioning systems and elements and estimation of energy consumption; energetic solutions: simulation for buildings; renewable energy: sources; energy in buildings: buildings energy efficiency; district heating systems: insulation and sub-stations; refrigeration (a North American view of refrigerant selection consistent with environmental and other concerns; CFC centrifugal chillers: why and how to replace them; air-cooled heat exchangers for CO2 refrigeration cycles; design of refrigeration systems with electronic expansion valves, condenser fan velocity regulators and controllers; parameters of humid air change in evaporative heat exchangers; alternative method for the cooling of power microelectronics using classical refrigeration; water cooling in wet cooling towers; thermal energy storage applications in Rumania); Swedish experiences and solutions for modern district heating systems; HVAC&R in agriculture; energy sources and thermal energy production. The CD includes papers of foreign authors and domestic professionals who sent their papers both in Serbian and English.
