Effet de divers traitements après-récolte et de l'entreposage sous atmosphère contrôlée sur les critères de qualité fondamentaux des pêches et de nectarines.

Effect of some postharvest treatments and controlled-atmosphere storage on basic quality criteria of peaches and nectarines.

Résumé

The peach (Flavorcrest and Red Top) and nectarine (Fantasia and Fairlane) cultivars used in the study were stored in normal and controlled-atmosphere conditions. Peaches and nectarines were subjected to some treatments (fungicide solution, low O2 and intermittent warming treatment) either before or during storage. Physical and chemical changes (weight loss, respiration rate, fruit flesh firmness, titratable acidity, total sugar, overall appearance) were recorded at 15-day intervals during 45 days storage and after 10 days shelf life at the end of the storage. Results are given.
