Résumé

The paper analyzes developments and emerging technology in distribution hubs, transport and retail display. It presents 4 criteria used to elucidate retailers' behaviour patterns and recent developments: temperature control, expanding sales, reducing energy consumption and protection of the environment. Examples are used to illustrate these trends.
