Summary

The aim of this study is to produce and to evaluate a controllable freezing rate and thawing rate cryosurgical system utilizing Peltier device and Free Piston Stirling Cooler (FPSC) application. This system operates using a standard household 100 voltage power supply, unlike other existing systems that uses disposable gases or liquids. Cryosurgery was performed using a 1-cycle method of fast freezing and slow thawing to mouse livers.
