Summary

The aim of the study was to evaluate the tissue-destructive effects of hyperthermia treatment immediately after freezing and thawing in cryosurgery. The observations demonstrated that a difference in tissue destroying depends on different temperatures of a few degrees centigrade, i.e. hyperthermic temperatures applied immediately after cryosurgery might accelerate the destruction of the thawed liver tissues, which were frozen at -20°C.
