Summary
The computer-aided design (CAD) system includes three parts: the calculation of the geometrical parameters, the simulation of the compressor working processes, and the optimization of the design parameters. The system has been used in the design of several air and refrigerant twin-screw compressors. And the results are very satisfactory.
