Summary
THE METASTABLE FLOW PHENOMENON OF R12 THROUGH 2 CAPILLARY TUBES WAS EXPERIMENTALLY INVESTIGATED. A METHOD UTILIZING THE CLASSIC NUCLEATION THEORY TO PREDICT THE HETEROGENEOUS NUCLEATION OF REFRIGERANT FLOWING THROUGH CAPILLARY TUBES WAS DEVELOPED. A CORRELATION FOR THE DETERMINATION OF THE PRESSURE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE THERMODYNAMIC SATURATED POINT AND THE POINT OF THE INCEPTION OF VAPORIZATION WAS ESTABLISHED.
