A field-tested model for freeze protection of multiphase pipelines in Arctic operations.
Author(s) : EAGER K.
Summary
Development of a new heat-transfer model for optimizing the protective systems against cold for multiphase-flow pipelines in Prudhoe Bay. The in situ tests made it possible to modify and improve the model, with a view to planning the production of these pipes with a safety coefficient up to 20 %.
