A new compressor type: the swing compressor.
Author(s) : VOS G.
Summary
Because of the very high energy consumption of air conditioning in Japan (one fourth of total energy consumption in buildings), special attention has to be given to the efficiency of compressors. A new compressor was designed and tested with R407C and R410A. Technical and economic aspects are reviewed here.
