Performance development of 2-cylinder rotary compressor for R410A.

Summary

The paper presents the development of 2-cylinder rotary compressor for R410A compared with R22. To develop a higher efficiency compressor, the authors measured the pressure diagram of the compression chamber and analyzed compression loss. The compression loss is mainly caused by leakage from clearances of compression chambers and re-expansion. This re-expansion loss relates with top clearance volume. Depending on the results of this improvement, the authors have developed a highly efficient compressor for R410A.
