Development of 2-cylinder rotary compressor with R410A.

Summary

The optimized designs consisted of an oil-film thickness more than the current R22's thickness for journal bearing. COP relative to R22 was slightly inferior in the high-speed range, but in the low-speed range, a performance equal thereto or more was obtained. For securing reliability, the vanes and rollers were made of a combination of steel subjected to nitride treatment and alloy cast iron, and HS (hydrolytically stable)-POE oil with VG 68 was selected as lubricant. Excellent results were obtained.
