Type of article: Article

Summary

THE STUDY IS UNDERTAKEN ON THE CONVENTIONAL ABSORPTION REFRIGERATION CYCLE WHICH DIVIDES THE HIGH AND LOW PRESSURE SIDES BY AN EXPANSION VALVE AND A GATE VALVE ACTING AS A PRESSURE REDUCER ; THE STUDY IS ALSO CARRIED OUT ON A CYCLE WHICH IS MODIFIED BY THE PRESENCE OF AN ABSORBER-EJECTOR REPLACING THE GATE VALVE. THE REFRIGERANT IS R22 AND THE ABSORBENT IS DIMETHYLETHERTETRAETHYLENEGLYCOL. THANKS TO THE MODIFICATION, A SIGNIFICANT IMPROVEMENT OF THE EFFICIENCY IS NOTED, AT THE LEVEL OF THE HEAT EXCHANGER AND DIFFUSER, AS WELL AS AN INCREASE IN THE COP. (Bibliogr. int.
