Summary

The method uses liquid nitrogen vapour at a negative temperature. The fruit packed in standard cases are arranged inside the semi-trailer in piles. During refrigeration, streams of nitrogen vapour are applied by impulses. Using this method, fruit can be chilled from 22 down to 3 deg C within 25-30 minutes.
