Summary

USE OF LIQUID NITROGEN IN CHILLING THE MILK AT THE POINT OF PROCUREMENT REDUCES THE PERCENTAGE OF SPOILED MILK. USING REGENERATION-REHEAT-OPEN-CYCLE LIQUID NITROGEN CAN BE USED TO PRODUCE POWER BY ABSORBING HEAT FROM MILK. THIS MECHANICAL POWER WILL HELP THE STIRRING PROCESS DURING CHILLING OF MILK. THE DETAILED DESIGN OF SUCH A REFRIGERATION POWER GENERATOR IS DESCRIBED AND THE ECONOMICS OF IT HAS BEEN LISTED OUT.
