A NEW METHOD USED TO ANALYZE THE CONCENTRATION OF REFRIGERANT MIXTURE.

Author(s) : XIE G. Z., et al.

Summary

IN THE ANALYSIS OF THE COMPOSITION OF POLYCOMPONENT REFRIGERANT MIXTURES USING THE GAS CHROMATOGRAPHIC TECHNIQUE, THE CHROMATOGRAPHIC PEAK AREA HAS OFTEN BEEN DETERMINED MANUALLY. THE RELATIVE DEVIATION OF THE RESULTS MAY BE AS MUCH AS 8%. IN THIS PAPER, A NEW DATA PROCESSING METHOD WAS DEVELOPED. THE METHOD CAN BE DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS. FIRSTLY, THERELATIONSHIP OF MASS VERSUS THE PEAK AREA FOR EACH KIND OF PURE REFRIGERANT IS OBTAINED WITH THE HEL]"DE AN EXTERNAL STANDARDIZATION. SECONDLY, THE CHROMATOGRAPHIC PEAK OF THE MIXTURE IS SEPARATED OFF BY PICKING OFF MULTI-POINT VALUES FROM THE MEASURED CHROMATOGRAPHIC CURVES AND FITTING THE VALUES. THIRDLY, THE PEAK AREA IS CALCULATED BY REVISING THE PEAK HEIGHT AND BY PERFORMING NUMERICAL INTEGRATION. FINALLY, THE CONCENTRATION AND COMPOSITION OF MULTICOMPONENT REFRIGERANT MIXTURES CAN BE FOUND USING THE RELATIONSHIPS PREVIOUSLY DETERMINED. ALL OF THIS PROCESS IS COMPLETED RAPIDLY AND ON OF NON-SYMMETRIC PEAKS AND THE VALUES OF CONCENTRATION OF THE MIXTURES ARE LESS THAN 1.4 AND 3%, RESPECTIVELY.
