A new technique for the analysis of torque tube heat exchangers of superconducting generators.
Author(s) : SAHOO P. K., SARANGI S.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The rate of heat leak to the cold space has been found to be a function of two dimensionless parameters: a generalized cooling parameter and a temperature range parameter. A generalized design chart is presented which expresses the dimensionless heat flow rate in terms of these parameters.
