Summary
Various numerical studies related with a multi-type heat pump were carried out but study on a simultaneous heating and cooling system has been rare. The objective of this study is to predict the performance of a two-module type simultaneous heating and cooling heat pump with respect to the operating mode by developing a cycle simulation model. To validate the numerical model, an experimental evaluation at the standard condition has been carried out for each operating mode.
