ENERGETIC AND EXERGETIC LOSSES OF AN AIR-WATER HEAT PUMP.
PERTES ENERGETIQUES ET EXERGETIQUES D'UNE POMPE A CHALEUR AIR-EAU.
Author(s) : MATTHEY P.
Summary
AN AIR-WATER HEAT PUMP WAS TESTED TO DETERMINE THE THERMODYNAMIC LOSSES OF EACH OF ITS PARTS. THE STUDY SHOWS WHICH PARTS SHOULD BE MODIFIED TO IMPROVE THE PERFORMANCE OF A SINGLE-STAGE COMPRESSION HEAT PUMP. GREATER IMPROVEMENTS COULD BE MADE, USING TWO-STAGE COMPRESSION CYCLES FOR INSTANCE.
