ANALYSIS OF THE THERMODYNAMIC CYCLES FOR THE SIMULTANEOUS GENERATION OF HOT AND COLD AIR.

Author(s) : DUBINSKY M. G.

Summary

IN ACTUAL CYCLES SUPPLYING COLD AND HOT AIR, THE TEMPERATURE OF HOT AIR FOR A PRESET COLD AIR TEMPERATURE DEPENDS ON LOSSES DURING COMPRESSION AND EXPANSION. THE AUTHOR STUDIES THE IDEAL REVERSED CYCLE IN WHICH THE MAXIMUM WORK IS OBTAINED FOR DETERMINED HOT AND COLD AIR TEMPERATURES AND HE EVALUATES THE EFFICIENCY OF AN ACTUAL SYSTEM BY THE RATIO OF THE WORK OF THE REVERSED CYCLE TO THE WORK SPENT IN THE ACTUAL CYCLE, THIS RATIO IS THE ECONOMIC COEFFICIENT OF THE CYCLE. THE PROPERTIES OF THE AIR MACHINE FOR DIFFERENT ECONOMIC COEFFICIENTS OF THE COMPRESSOR AND THE EXPANSION VALVE AND DIFFERENT TEMPERATURES ARE GIVEN.
