Summary

The comfort of human beings varies with the outdoor environment and with the acquisition of resistance to heat. The hypothesis is presented that the points of difference between the indoor and the outdoor temperature for thermal comfort move on the graph as a hysteretic curve in proportion to the change in the outdoor temperature. The paper recommends the use of air-conditioned buildings with cooled shelter for non-acclimatized people to regulate the heat balance for a while, and shows the preparation of a utility model with energy savings of 5-10%.
