Summary
To control the thermal storage operation properly, it is necessary to predict the heat load for the following day. The present paper focuses on a load prediction method based on Group Method of Data Handling (GMDH) through examining the initial input variable, regular procedure, convergent condition for repeated calculation and length of learning period. It was verified that the heat load prediction method based on GMDH can predict the heat load with sufficient precision.
