Summary
Phase transitions occur everywhere in nature. Researchers take an intimate look at how a phase transition similar to, but more exotic than, the gas-liquid transition occurs - the birth of a superfluid droplet. This particular phase transition occurs when a trapped atomic gas is cooled almost to the absolute zero of temperature, forming what is known as a Bose-Einstein condensate.
