IIR document
A system of steel cooling-down for its thermal transformation under cryogenic temperatures.
Author(s) : OTA J.
Summary
Low-temperature processing of materials is widely used for the transformation of the residual austenite in hardened parts to a harder martensite in the whole volume of the product, for accurate parts and components. With the aim of operation cost savings in the cooling-down process, a system is proposed using heat interchange between a cooled-down and a warmed-up stream of material.
