Summary
In this article, the authors describe the performance of an inverter air-conditioner system that uses a capillary as the expansion device when the compressor runs at a certain frequency. Then from the trends of refrigeration capacity, COP and refrigerant mass flow rate etc. that changed with the compressor's frequency, a conclusion as to which frequency scope the capillary can adapt to is drawn.
