Optimization of the manometric height and savings achieved at pumping level.

Optimisation de la hauteur manométrique et économies de pompage.

Type of article: Article

Summary

Variable-flow-rate distribution networks equipped with two-way control valves are favoured by designers of air-conditioning plants and enable savings to be achieved at pumping level. Variable-speed pumps are a new element in this trend and have positive features that are accepted by all designers. However, the performance of variable-speed pumps is often insufficient. These pumps are rarely optimized in order to achieve the desired savings at pumping level.
