Summary

A SIMILAR ANALYSIS WAS MADE BEFORE FOR ARGON. THE RESULTS OBTAINED FOR ARGON AND R23 SHOW THAT THE EQUATION OF STATE OF GAS AND LIQUID, DETERMINED AFTER THE METHOD SUGGESTED, DESCRIBES THE REGULAR PART OF THE THERMODYNAMIC SURFACE AT LEAST WITH AS MUCH ACCURACY AS THE CRITICAL REGION. THE METHOD FOR ELABORATING THIS EQUATION IS QUITE DIFFERENT FROM PREVIOUS APPROACH. THE DEFECTS OF THIS METHOD ARE DISCUSSED AND VARIOUS POSSIBLE IMPROVEMENTS ARE SUGGESTED.
