A WATER STORAGE TANK MODEL FOR SOLAR ENERGY STORAGE.

Summary
AN AXYSYMMETRICAL HEAT STORAGE TANK MODEL HAS BEEN DEVELOPED, WHICH, WHEN COMPARED TO A FULLY STRATIFIED AND IDEALLY MIXED MODEL, HAS TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION SOME VISCOSITY EFFECTS. THE OBTAINED NUMERICAL RESULTS OF WATER TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTION WITHIN THE STORAGE TANK ARE COMPARED WITH THE EXISTING EXPERIMEN TAL EVIDENCE. THE COMPARISON WITH THE EXISTING MODELS HAS SHOWN THAT THIS GIVES GOOD AGREEMENT WITH EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS.
