Absorption chillers improve cogeneration energy efficiency.
Author(s) : HUFFORD P. E.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The COP of an absorption chiller is improved by two-stage operation, and with the high temperature waste heat from a gas turbine. With cogeneration, these chillers can provide chilled water, process steam and hot water. It also becomes economic to precool the turbine inlet air. A.R.T.
