Industrial refrigeration from heat coming from co-generation systems.
Producción de frío industrial mediante calor procedente de sistemas de cogeneración.
Author(s) : BASSOLS J.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Absorption systems make it possible to optimize the heat balance of co-generation plants. Ammmonia-water systems can reach -60 deg C. The author proposes solutions for integrating absorption machines into refrigerating systems using ammonia. He gives two examples of plants, one in Rotterdam, the other in Gerona (Spain).
