Absorption-compression cycle using the pair CO2-acetone.

Summary
The COPs of two cycles are compared: a conventional, single-stage vapour compression cycle and a hybrid compression-absorption cycle with the CO2-acetone pair. Through an increase in the operating pressure, higher COPs than those of the conventional cycle are obtained with the hybrid cycle using the CO2-acetone pair. Results are given.
