New thermodynamic systems: alternatives to compression-absorption.
Nouveaux systèmes thermodynamiques : alternative de la compression-absorption.
Author(s) : FEIDT M., BRUNIN O., LOTTIN O., VIDAL J. F., HIVET B.
Summary
The article discusses a joint, 5-year study of compression-absorption heat pumps. A thermodynamic model, with accurate models of exchangers-reactors, was used for simulation, sizing (and even optimization) of the system. A small-capacity prototype is being tested at a site in Renardières, France. The first results obtained were analyzed and compared to the models. A industrial-scale experiment now seems worth doing. A first analysis shows some possible applications being studied in detail.
