THE INDUSTRIAL SYSTEMS FOR ENERGY RECOVERY AT THE LEVEL OF 403 K (130 DEG C) HAVE BEEN USING WATER SOLUTIONS OF LITHIUM BROMIDE. THESE SOLUTIONS PRESENT 2 PROBLEMS: RISKS OF CRYSTALLIZATION AND CORROSION. TO AVOID THESE RISKS, THE SYSTEM WATER-GLYCEROL HAS BEEN SELECTED. THE INTEREST OF THE PROPOSED SYSTEM CAN BE SEEN THROUGH THE THEORETICAL SIMULATION OF THE ABSORPTION HEAT PUMP CYCLE. IT IS POSSIBLE TO ACHIEVE AN ENERGY UPGRADING OF 50 K AT THE ABSORBER. THE EFFICIENCY COEFFICIENT DEPENDS ON THE HIGH AND LOW PRESSURE, BUT NOT TOO MUCH ON THE PERFORMANCE OF THE CONDENSER.
