Summary

The paper describes a system that can save energy use in a building by using information technology. This system saves the energy consumption of air conditioners while maintaining thermal comfort. To achieve this, it collects weather forecast data every day via a network, and it makes optimal control schedules of air conditioners. The features of the system and some field test data are introduced.
