Summary
This study demonstrates that the addition of cholesterol to stallion sperm prior to cryopreservation raises the cryosurvival rates of stallion sperm. These findings may contribute to enhanced cryopreservation of stallion sperm in general and in particular may facilitate the cryopreservation of sperm that has not been acceptably frozen in the past.
