THE INCREASINGLY STRINGENT REQUIREMENTS IN CLEAN-ROOM TECHNOLOGY HAVE LED TO DEVELOPMENTS WHICH SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASE THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE IN AIR TECHNOLOGY. THE PROGRESS ACHIEVED IN RECENT YEARS IS DEMONSTRATED USING VARIOUS EXAMPLES FROM STUDIES CARRIED OUT.
