Air conditioning: desiccant has potential.
Author(s) : MONGAR A.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The author presents a new patented process using liquid desiccant to condition outside air. The desiccant used consists of 90% lithium bromide with 10% lithium chloride. This is sprayed into the supply air stream in a new type of heat exchanger, which transfers the heat evolved to the return air stream sprayed with water to reduce its temperature.
