DESCRIPTION OF A THERMOELECTRIC ALL-YEAR AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEM USED IN PRESSURIZED ROOMS ON BOARD CHINESE SHIPS AND SUBMARINES. THIS TYPE OF ROOMS WAS DEVELOPED FOR MEDICAL PURPOSES BY THE UNIVERSITY OF TONGJI (CHINA) AND THE NAVY RESEARCH INSTITUTE IN SHANGHAI. THE AUTHORS ALSO DESCRIBE THE PRESSURIZED ROOM ITSELF AND THE TEST EQUIPMENT THEY USED, AS WELL AS THE TEST RESULTS (GRAPHS) ON ROOM TEMPERATURE AS A FUNCTION OF AIR PRESSURE WHEN THE SYSTEM WORKS AND WHEN IT DOES NOT ; REFRIGERATING CAPACITY, CONSUMPTION AND COP AS FUNCTIONS OF ABSORBED INTENSITY.
