Summary
The Insurance Company Colonia in Cologne, Germany, built in 1983 a new office building for their headquarter with an effective area of about 70,000 m2. The building is equipped with a "supporting supply- and exhaust ventilation system" which can be switched on or off by the employees. The windows are openable. Experiences with the weather conditions for opening the windows and running times of the ventilation system are now known and being reported.
