THE PAPER PRESENTS APPROACH TO DESIGN AIR DISTRIBUTION FOR OFFICE BUILDINGS USING THE PLENUM UNDER A RAISED FLOOR. THE MATHEMATICAL MANIPULATIONS OF MODIFYING A STANDARD VARIABLE-AIR-VOLUME DESIGN INTO AN UNDER-FLOOR AIR SUPPLY SYSTEM ARE PRESENTED INTHE LOGIC SEQUENCE DEVELOPED IN ACCOMPLISHING THE BUIDING HVAC DESIGN. EXAMPLE PROBLEMS AND DIAGRAMS ILLUSTRATE THE EFFECT OF THE MAJOR INFLUENCING FACTORS.
