Summary

The paper presents and tested methods of temperature control air passing through a ventilation duct. The adjustment examined in three control modes: proportional (P), proportional-derivative (PD) and the proportional-integral-derivative term (PID). For this purpose, it was built an test apparatus and application written in Visual Basic. For each control mode it has been designated the characteristics of work and experimental studies have been conducted. In the introduction it was succinctly described the role of automation in modern air conditioning systems, ventilation and cooling installations. These are control modes that have been compared in terms of the accuracy of maintaining the desired temperature, the stable operation and speed of the reaction. These are the most important criteria of control systems of regulation. Studies have shown that the fastest steady state was achieved by working in PD mode, while the PID give the best control accuracy. It is worth noting that in all three cases we managed to get control accuracy below 1 K, which in practice means that the difference will not be noticeable to most people.
