Summary

THE AIR-TO-WATER HEAT PUMP CHILLER HAS BEEN APPLIED TO MANY FIELDS FOR AIR-CONDITIONING AND HOT-WATER PRODUCTION. BUT RECENT APPLICATIONSIN WIDE TEMPERATURE RANGES MAINLY FOR INDUSTRIAL USAGE, DEMAND A MORE SOPHISTICATED WAY TO CONTROL THE HEAT PUMP THAN CONVENTIONAL MECHANICAL CONTROL. A NEW CONTROL SYSTEM IS DESCRIBED WHICH UTILIZES THE TEMPERATURE DEPENDENCE OF REFRIGERANT RESISTANCE TO FLOW THROUGH CAPILLARY TUBES.
