Heat pumps: the impact of part-load operating on performance.
Pompes à chaleur : impact du fonctionnement à charge partielle sur le rendement.
Author(s) : BERNIER J.
Type of article: Article
Summary
On-site measurements have demonstrated energy losses occurring during the initial operating phase of heat pumps. This article proposes a new way of calculating the effective output with respect to the duration of the operating cycle. The duration varies according to the thermal inertia of the emitter, regulation, the size of the equipment and the load.
